Trash at our school is major nuisance outside and in the school building. Wrappers, bags and water bottles are some of the type of litter not including chips and other food that are seemingly everywhere often. Continuing into the field the litter spreads by wind thus making it harder to pick up and the area is larger than what it was before. Sadly efforts to corral the trash have failed.

What can students do to help solve this problem? Are you going to take any further steps to make students aware of the trash problem here at Castro? I think you have a great start on pinpointing a huge nuisance here at Castro. Did you pick up the trash after you took a picture of it? What can teachers here at Castro do to help solve the trash problem? You started a great story and I will be looking forward to a follow up!!
