Hot Day Today

Today, Friday 28 was one of the hottest day EVER!!! We had to go to the gym because it was so hot. Everybody went running inside. We were outside during recess. Everybody was frustrated because it was burning outside.

Tomorrow is Free Dress Day / Missing Phone

Tomorrow is free dress day. The principal Mr.Pena is giving us a special privilege to wear any type of clothes tomorrow. Also Mr.Pena is missing his phone. It’s a silver Verizon if you have it or know who has it please turn it in the office when you can. You will be a hero if you turn it in.

There will be free dress day tomorrow for good behavior. “Keep it up” and there will also be free dress day on Tuesday September 1 on picture day. Mr. Pina has lost his phone. If you have seen it or know who has it or found it please take it to the office.

Picture day is next week on Tuesday. A lot of students are excited about picture day. There will be no uniform that’s why students are excited. The pictures that we're taking are going to be in the yearbook, so students are making sure that they put something appropriate on and look nice.

Opinions on Skinny Jeans

My opinion is that I don’t think it's right for guys to wear skinny jeans because it makes them look silly. Skinny jeans are made for girls. Loose clothes are made for guys.

I think it’s right for men to wear skinny jeans because they are not only for girls. They look right on men too. If girls don’t like how the pants look on boys, well don’t look at them! I just think boys are allowed to wear skinnys. There are skinnys for boys and there is a difference: boys skinnys have deeper pockets and girls have smaller pockets.

Tryouts

The Castro Cougars’ tryouts were yesterday. A lot of people tried out for soccer, volleyball, and cross country. The students and coaches were excited for the tryouts. If I were to tryout I would tryout for soccer because it’s easy. Most of the students tried out for soccer because it’s their favorite sport.

Today at Castro Middle School, there are tryouts for sports. There are boys and girls soccer, girls volleyball and boys and girls cross country. Tryouts are after school so go try out for your favorite sport and make your school proud.

Castro Cougar tryouts were yesterday. A lot of people were excited about representing Castro. Yesterday was soccer, volleyball and cross country.The coaches and the students were excited about tryouts.They all had something in mind, “did I make the team?”

All students that did not attend tryouts yesterday may attend tryouts today for boy’s/girl’s soccer boy’s/girl’s cross country and girl’s volleyball team .
All the students trying out today must report to the gym. All students that make the team sport must get a sport physical. If you attend tryouts there is a late bus that can take you home and tryouts end at 5 p.m.

Castro Middle School Sports Tryouts

Yesterday at Raul H.Castro Middle School the coaches of P.E were telling the students that soccer try outs were out in the grass. Basketball was held in the basketball gym.Softball is outside in the softball field. The tryouts are after school between 3:50 until it ends. If you want to sign up you have to go to your coach and tell him to give you a sign up slip and your parents have to sign it. You have to try your best when you are in practice because they could take you off. If you try your best they will choose you for you team.

Sport Try Outs And Student Council

Yesterday they’re were try outs for boys and girls soccer.There was also volleyball for girls and cross country for boys and girls.People have been saying that a lot of kids have tried out and that they are nervous that they might cut them out because only a certain amount of kids are going to be chosen.

Starting from today kids can get a permission slip to get into student council. A lot of people were in it last year and we hope it’s the same this year.
